La Petite Bouchée
La Petite Bouchée is our pop up restaurant based in Sydenham Wells Park, in South East London. We have always wanted to work with food. We had already launched a small batch artisan food company in May and then we were given the opportunity to buy our beautiful vintage 1971 Citroen HY camper van. The idea for La Petite Bouchée happened after we had bought her in March.
She was originally destined for our little small-batch artisan food company Heaven Preserve Us. Then rather suddenly the idea to turn her into a four seater bistro came like a bolt from the blue at about 0300 in the morning in the early spring last year. We then agreed a name and by dawn we had a concept, a url and social media platforms all up and running.
THE CONCEPT is simple, a four seater bistro which serves simple yet hugely flavoursome, french classics and beyond in pre booked events. Additionally, La Petite Bouchée can design private parties, from birthdays to anniversaries, corporate meetings and product launches. You book, we’ll give you a choice of menu, then we’ll go and source the ingredients ready for your event.
